A new starting point for insulation.
Biological networks. Material engineering. Building performance.
Mycelium forms a binding network. Agricultural residues and cork provide biological material inputs. Our work brings them together in a composite designed around thermal performance, repeatability and manufacturing.

EPBD / EU 2024/1275
A whole-life view of buildings.
The EPBD introduces life-cycle global warming potential calculation and disclosure in energy performance certificates for new buildings.
From 1 January: new buildings over 1,000 m² of useful floor area.
From 1 January: all new buildings.
Material choices will face closer life-cycle scrutiny. The requirement concerns building-level assessment; it does not prescribe a particular material. Read the Commission’s explanation
