1. Identification and purpose
The fungifoam.eu website is provided by the FungiFoam project, with a contact location at Madan Parque, Rua dos Inventores, 2825-182 Caparica, Portugal. Contact: operations@fungifoam.eu. FungiFoam is not yet incorporated as a company.
The website presents mycelium-based material development using agricultural residues and enables enquiries about building applications, evaluation, samples, partnerships, investment and press. These terms govern use of this institutional website.
2. Access and use
Browsing is free and does not require registration. Internet access charges are determined by your provider. Browsing alone does not create a payment obligation, marketing consent or a transfer of rights over your data.
Use the website lawfully and respect third-party rights. Do not introduce malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate others or submit unlawful messages or messages intended to disrupt the service. Use of other people's data must be necessary and lawful.
We may take proportionate steps to limit abuse, protect the service or comply with law. Where appropriate and permitted, we will explain restrictions and provide a contact for clarification. Administrative access is reserved for authorised people and is not customer registration.
3. Enquiries, proposals and samples
Submitting the form is not an order, payment, product reservation or confirmation of sample availability. We assess enquiries and may request further information. Any partnership, supply, testing arrangement or investment requires its own terms and express agreement with the competent parties.
Do not send confidential formulations, credentials or sensitive personal information in an initial message. If collaboration requires confidential or unpublished intellectual property, the scope, recipients and protections must be agreed first.
4. Development status and technical information
Materials described as prototypes or under development are at the stage stated in their presentation. Experimental results depend on the sample, method and test conditions. Future objectives, conceptual images and application references do not mean certification has been obtained or use is authorised for any purpose.
Terms for any sample or supply should identify its specifications, intended use, handling and limitations. A laboratory result must not be assumed to apply to every formulation, dimension or condition of use. These explanations do not remove legal product safety, information or liability obligations.
We aim to keep content accurate and current. Report errors to operations@fungifoam.eu. Correcting information cannot remove accrued rights or unilaterally amend existing contracts.
5. Intellectual property
Texts, graphics, illustrations, photographs, software and distinctive signs belong to their respective rights holders or are used under a licence or another lawful basis. Access does not transfer those rights.
You may read and use content within the provided functionality, stated licences and statutory exceptions. Commercial reproduction, adaptation or redistribution requiring permission must be authorised by the relevant rights holder. Credits, licence conditions and rights notices must be respected.
Sending a message or file permits only the uses necessary to assess and respond to the enquiry. It does not grant the project a general licence to commercially exploit the sender's intellectual property.
6. Availability and external links
We exercise reasonable care to maintain availability and security. Maintenance, technical faults or external causes may interrupt access. This institutional presentation is not an uninterrupted-availability guarantee or a contracted service-level agreement.
External links provide sources, credits and further information. Those services have their own terms. A link does not in itself establish a partnership, certification or commercial endorsement. Responsibilities legally attributable to us for presenting or integrating content remain unaffected.
7. Liability
Liability is determined under applicable law. These terms do not exclude liability where exclusion is prohibited, including for intentional misconduct or gross negligence, harm to life, physical integrity or health, or mandatory consumer, data protection or product rights.
Using the website is not a general waiver of compensation, guarantees, complaints or judicial protection. Any limitations relating to a particular collaboration or supply must comply with law and appear in the relevant agreement.
8. Purchases, returns and consumer disputes
This website currently has no online shop, checkout, payment collection or automatic sales. It therefore does not set delivery terms, prices, returns or purchase guarantees for transactions it does not offer.
Before any future sale, the actual seller, goods, price and taxes, extra charges, payment methods, delivery times and applicable rights must be identified. For distance contracts with consumers, legally required withdrawal information must be supplied, including the 14-day period where applicable, exceptions, withdrawal form and statutory guarantees. Merely describing an item as customised or a prototype does not automatically remove those rights.
Statutory consumer withdrawal rights do not automatically apply to professional transactions. The actual purpose and circumstances determine the relationship; a B2B label or tax-number field does not determine it alone.
If activity expands to consumer supply, the competent alternative dispute resolution entities and required complaint channels must be identified. See the official Portuguese Directorate-General for Consumer Affairs ADR list. This information does not remove rights arising from transactions actually concluded outside the website.
9. Contact, law and courts
For website questions or complaints, contact operations@fungifoam.eu. You do not have to contact us before approaching authorities or courts where law permits.
Portuguese law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections applicable to them, including those of their habitual residence where required by law. Jurisdiction is determined by national and European legal rules, without imposing an exclusive forum that removes legally granted rights.
10. Personal data and changes
Data processing is described in the Privacy Policy and technologies in the Cookie Policy. Accepting terms does not replace separate consent where required.
Updates are identified by date and version, apply to future use and do not unilaterally change existing contracts. If a provision is invalid, the remainder continues insofar as it can lawfully do so.
