FungiFoam in brief.
FungiFoam is a Portugal-based deep-tech startup developing bio-based insulation from mycelium, agricultural residues and cork for European buildings.
Its V2 prototype achieved an experimental thermal conductivity of approximately 0.04 W/(m·K). V3 is in development, with a focus on performance and repeatability. The four co-founders bring together materials engineering, chemical engineering, biotechnology, finance and business development.
