1. Project and scope
This policy applies to fungifoam.eu, the website of the FungiFoam project. Contact location: Madan Parque, Rua dos Inventores, 2825-182 Caparica, Portugal. Contact: operations@fungifoam.eu.
2. What cookies are
Cookies are small files a website may store in your browser to maintain a session or remember information. Local storage, pixels and other identifiers may have similar functions. Protection of devices and personal data depends on how the technology actually operates, not simply its name.
First-party cookies relate to this website; third-party cookies relate to other providers. Session cookies end with the session according to browser behaviour; persistent cookies have an expiry period. Storage duration on a device may differ from server-side data retention.
3. Institutional website configuration
Optional audience analytics, personalised advertising, marketing pixels, embedded video and public customer registration are not activated on the public presentation pages. Language selection is carried in the page address and does not require a preference cookie. The public form does not create subscription or marketing cookies.
Images and fonts are served by this website. Credited photographs include external links: voluntarily visiting those links opens the relevant service under its own terms. Optional Google audience-measurement scripts and Hostinger Reach marketing embeds are disabled on the public presentation pages.
4. Categories and status
| Category | Purpose | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Strictly necessary | Transmission, administrative authentication and functions strictly necessary for the requested service | Only when required for the function used |
| Optional analytics and performance | Audience measurement and individual browsing journeys | Not activated on institutional pages |
| Optional preferences | Additional preferences and services that are not indispensable | Not activated |
| Marketing | Personalised advertising, profiling and campaign measurement | Not activated |
An exemption from consent for strictly necessary storage or access does not remove GDPR obligations where personal data are processed. A technology that benefits a business is not automatically necessary for the service requested by a visitor.
5. Necessary technologies and administrative access
The following authentication cookies concern restricted WordPress administration. They do not represent customer accounts or advertising tracking of visitors. Suffixes vary by installation and user.
| Name or family | Provider | Purpose | Duration or condition | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| wordpress_test_cookie | This website / WordPress | Test cookie support on the sign-in screen | Sign-in session | Necessary first-party cookie |
| wordpress_logged_in_* and wordpress_sec_* / wordpress_* | This website / WordPress | Recognise and protect authenticated administrator sessions | Depends on the session and remember-me choice; remembering sign-in can extend validity to 14 days | Necessary first-party authentication cookie |
| wp-settings-* and wp-settings-time-* | This website / WordPress | Store administrative interface settings | Up to one year when created during administrative access | First-party administrative preference cookie |
| Temporary rate-limit identifier | This website | Limit abusive form submissions | One hour of validity on the server | Server record, not a visitor cookie |
Further technical information is available in the WordPress cookie documentation. Browser tools show cookies actually present in your session. Hosting infrastructure may apply technical traffic-protection measures; infrastructure processing is described in the Privacy Policy.
6. Managing choices
The footer's “Cookie information” link explains the current configuration. As no optional categories are activated, we do not ask for artificial consent or show buttons claiming to enable or reject absent tools.
If optional technologies are introduced, they must remain blocked until prior consent where legally required. The first layer will allow visitors to accept all, reject optional technologies or manage categories, with clear choices and no preselected optional boxes. Closing a notice, scrolling or continuing to browse will not count as consent.
Any future consent must be changeable or withdrawable through persistent cookie preferences as easily as it was given. Withdrawal applies to future use. The inventory must identify providers, purposes, duration and transfers before new optional tools are activated.
You can delete or block cookies in your browser's privacy settings. Blocking authentication cookies prevents or affects the administrative sign-in you request. Deleting a device cookie does not automatically erase data already received by a server; for data rights, contact operations@fungifoam.eu. See the Privacy Policy.
